Issues and trends shaping Canada's health, economy and environment. Funded by Environment Canada, The Laidlaw Foundation and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
The Sustainability Reporting Program is Canada's first independent initiative to find out how we are doing at living in balance for the long term. The reporting system works from a definition of sustainability that sees human activities as part of – and dependent upon – the natural world.
The Sustainability Reporting Program was created over the last few years as an independent not-for-profit organization. The York Centre for Applied Sustainability, Pollution Probe and Michael Keating were initial partners in this project. The project has received financial assistance from Environment Canada, the Laidlaw Foundation and DFAIT.
