Biography
Professor Ian McDougall is Director of the Joint LL.B./MBA Program and a past recipient of the Governor General’s Award for Conservation.
Research Interests
Professor McDougall specializes in the corporate governance and corporate finance areas. He has published extensively on topics including natural resources, environmental and energy law, and has consulted widely with all levels of government and industry. A multiple-rated pilot, he sits on a variety of aviation industry advisory boards and corporate boards, and is actively involved in the development of heightened standards for the control of upper atmospheric combustion residuals. He also teaches and consults in the area of aerospace law, and has participated in support of a variety of pure research projects at the University of Toronto and John Hopkins University.
